25% Worldwide Hotel Discount (Capped at S$80)
Citibank Singapore is currently running a promotion for Citibank cards issued in Singapore! In collaboration with Expedia, Citi cardmembers get a 25% discount on hotel bookings WORLDWIDE, capped at S$80. You will need to select the “Pay Now” option, and take note that the promotion will not be applied to taxes, fees, and other charges.
The promo code can only be used by clicking through the Citibank link. Log in to your Citibank mobile app and go to your Notifications on the top-right-hand corner. You should be able to find a "25% off hotel stays" message. Follow the instructions to bring you to the Expedia landing page! Alternatively, search on Google to get you to the correct Citibank landing page. Log in to your Expedia account afterwards. Please remember to pay with your Singapore-issued Citibank credit card. It will not work otherwise!

How to Maximise the Promotion
Sweet Spot at S$320 Before Taxes
I found that the sweet spot is booking a hotel room that costs S$320 a night before taxes, to maximise the S$80 discount. If the room costs more than S$320, you will still only get S$80 off. Spend less than that, and the 25% discount will be based on the room rate. For example, if the room costs S$200, the 25% discount becomes S$50 instead of the maximum S$80. Consider your choice carefully! As a reminder, do note that the 25% discount applies to each booking. This means that this promotion is best used for one-night stays. Stay two or more nights, and your discount will be fixed at S$80 anyway.
Redeem 5 times per Customer
According to Citibank's terms and conditions, there is a redemption limit of five times per customer. This means that if you are planning a staycation run, you can book up to 5 times, saving up to S$400! Time to do some serious researching!

Hotel Loyalty Program Limitations
There is, of course, one catch. If you are a loyalty member of hotel chains, such as ALL Accor, GHA Discovery, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, or Marriott Bonvoy, you may want to reconsider. This is because the benefits associated with your loyalty typically only apply when you book directly with them. Hence, if you choose to book with Expedia, you might not be able to utilise those benefits and claim those points. It may be a more effective strategy to target hotels that are not part of major hotel chains.
Note: A check on some hotels under ALL Accor, IHG, and Marriott Bonvoy found that they are NOT part of this Citibank promotion. So, no harm no foul! GHA Discovery hotels ARE a part of this promotion. However, think carefully about the opportunity cost!
Opportunity Cost for Elite Members (e.g., GHA, Marriott, Hilton)
Using GHA Discovery as an example: I am a Titanium member with GHA Discovery. The benefits include a guaranteed complimentary breakfast for two guests daily. A double-room upgrade, early check-in, and late check-out are additional benefits, subject to availability. In my experience, at least at Pan Pacific Singapore, they are pretty generous with the room upgrades.
I did a quick check on the GHA Discovery mobile application. A one-night stay in a Premier King room at Pan Pacific Orchard from 1 November 2025 to 2 November 2025 costs S$422.65. Please note that this rate includes a guaranteed breakfast for two guests, as well as potential room upgrades, early check-in, and late check-out.
Based on the Expedia promotion, the total net amount came to S$365.87. Breakfast is not included and will incur an additional charge of S$53, bringing the total to S$418.95. Considering that you may not earn D$ (GHA Discovery's loyalty programme points) by booking with Expedia, this promotion is not a good use of your monies. Be warned!

Fullerton Hotel Singapore – Stackable with Taste the Good Life Package
At the time of writing, I found a deal for The Fullerton Hotel Singapore for a booking between 1 November and 2 November 2025. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore is currently running a Taste the Good Life package that includes daily breakfast for up to two adults and two children, 20 per cent off at The Fullerton Spa for à la carte full-body massages and facial treatments, and a S$100 nett dining credit for use at hotel-run restaurants at both Fullerton Hotel Singapore and Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, as well as for in-room dining.
After utilising the 25%/S$80 discount, the promotion at Expedia came to a nett price of S$419.39. I did a quick check on The Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s official website, and it came up to S$499.39. Basically, you will save S$80. This might be a great deal, as you can stack the Taste the Good Life package with the S$80 savings. It is definitely worth considering!
Shangri-La Singapore – Perfect S$320 Sweet Spot
If you simply want to maximise the 25%/S$80 discount, you should consider Shangri-La Singapore. For a stay between 1 and 2 November 2025, the price at Expedia, before taxes, is S$323.19, which is almost perfect for the S$320 threshold. After applying the discount, the total net price comes to S$307.51, representing a maximum saving of S$80. To be honest, I am actually tempted to book this. Stay tuned!
Final Thoughts – Who Should Use This Promo?
Best for Staycations & Year-End Getaways
Because the promotion is based on each booking, a one-night stay is the best way to utilise this offer. To further maximise your savings, book five staycations! This will ensure you will save up to S$400. However, make sure you are actually intending to book those hotel stays anyway! Otherwise, you will end up not saving S$400, but spending thousands of dollars!
This promotion is time-sensitive and has limited availability for redemption. If you are considering an impromptu staycation or planning a holiday overseas, act fast.
As a repeated gentle reminder: target the independent hotels or hotels that are not part of major hotel chains. You are less likely to miss out on those precious hotel loyalty points and benefits that are usually only applicable if you book with them directly.
