Is the 11.11 Flash Sale Worth It? - How Much Can You Really Save?
After considering the usual member discount for booking in advance, you realise you are not really saving much. For a night, you are looking at a few tens of dollars in savings. However, if you are planning a long trip, the savings will add up.
This is probably not the most fantastic deal you will come across during this period. However, if your travel plans are already more or less firmed up and you are looking for affordable accommodation, this deal could be right for you.
Example Savings for Longer Stays
Four days at M Hotel Singapore City Centre will set you back S$872.84, compared to S$966.84 for the usual discounted rate. This represents a total of S$94 in savings —a significant amount that would be much better spent on food.
Consider a four-night stay at Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur. It is a great base for exploring the capital and the surrounding region, including Genting and Malacca. Booking your stay during this period will cost S$609.64, compared to S$702.76, saving you S$93.12. With that amount of money, you can enjoy to your heart’s content the fantastic food that Malaysia has to offer. Not to forget, Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur is situated in the heart of Bukit Bintang and is a fantastic place to do some shopping. KLCC is also a short walk/Grab ride away, where you can take the tour up the Petronas Twin Towers.

Why Millennium Hotels Are Worth Considering
Known for being “cheap and good” — well-located, clean, and comfortable.
Some properties offer excellent dining, such as Hua Ting at Orchard Hotel.
Great bases for exploring city centres and nearby attractions.
Many (not all) of Millennium’s hotels are known for being beautiful yet affordable. In layman's terms, they are “cheap and good”. Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore is definitely a great place to stay, situated along the Singapore River and home to lovely cafes. It is also a short jog away from Clarke Quay, Singapore’s nightlife central, and a further short jog to the Marina Bay area.
If you prefer staying in the city centre, definitely consider Orchard Hotel or M Hotel Singapore City Centre. One is located in the heart of Orchard Road, while the other is right at the end of Singapore’s Central Business District. Both are located in the city, with different kinds of vibes. I once had dinner at Orchard Hotel’s Hua Ting Restaurant, and it was the best Chinese food I had ever eaten. Make sure you head there if you have a chance!
Final Thoughts
Millennium Hotels has launched an 11.11 flash sale offering a 30% discount on selected hotels in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The 30% discount is based on the Best Available Rate. In reality, the actual discount from the usual member-discounted rate for booking in advance is around 10%. While it is not the most fantastic deal, it could be right for those who are already looking at Millennium hotels in this region for a firm stay. The money saved could be put to much better use, including buying souvenirs and enjoying some local food!
Alternatives
If you are looking at other properties, consider Far East Hospitality Members' Private Sale, which is offering a 50% discount based on their non-member Best Flexible Rate. It is a huge promotion, and you have up until 16 November 2025 to secure your booking. Click the link here to find out more about this massive promotion!
