Note: This is a re-post as part of a consolidation effort to shift all articles to the blog.

Held between 27 and 29 October 2017, the 2017 Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix is basically a three-day carnival for motorcycle enthusiasts. Located at Sepang Circuit, the MotoGP holds its race at the identical track used by its Formula 1
™ cousin. Being a fan of fast cars, I had to check out what’s so special about this particular race in Malaysia!

Kuala Lumpur Attractions - What to see and do in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur (KL), the capital of Malaysia, is a beautiful city to visit. Located in Southeast Asia, it is also a good gateway to head to the rest of the cities, such as Singapore, Phnom Penh, and Hanoi, just to mention a few places.

The city itself has many places where one can explore. For sure, Petronas Twin Towers and Menara KL Tower are top of the list for most visitors. However, get past that and you start to see the cultural beauty of KL. They have the awesome Islamic Arts Museum, while the National Museum is great place to visit. These offer insights into the country's past, and are worth exploring.

Remember to check out the Google map all the way below for our full list of attractions and food places you should head to while in Kuala Lumpur!

Penang is known as Malaysia’s food capital, and some locals might add this extends to the entire Southeast Asia region!

While we are not sure if the above statement is true, we definitely agree that Penang is a food paradise! Although the time we spent in Penang was short and we were not able to try everything, we enjoyed the food we had at most of the eateries and restaurants we went to! For sure, we will be back in Penang again and we hope to add on to this list of where and what to eat in Penang!

Check out our food guide below to see what you can eat the next time you head to Penang!

Penang Attractions - What to see and do in Penang

Penang, Malaysia's food capital, has a wide variety of attractions for everyone to enjoy. For those who might consider what places to visit, Penang's Peranakan culture is well-known. Quite a few buildings have turned into museums for everyone to see how its former Peranakan owners used to live. Due to the predominantly Chinese population, there are also quite a few clan associations still active in Penang. Attractions for the families are catered for, with KOMTAR, the tallest building in Penang, having an observation deck for everyone to enjoy the city from above. Make sure you check out Penang Hill as well, with temperatures considerably lower than that of the city. We can see why the British used to stay there all year round! Check out our list of attractions you should visit in Penang below!
